What length is a film?
Films vary in length depending on your child, how old they are and how many children there are to film. They can be anything between 5 minutes and 30 minutes in length. We aim to make them as entertaining as possible, often shorter and snappier makes for a greater impact and a far more entertaining watch.
How long will the filming take?
A typical filming day will begin at 8.30am and end at 5pm However as each film is different and unique to your child a proper estimate of the time spent filming will be provided in the booking confirmation. In the case of the Roohoo Dance Party Films we will arrive an hour before the party is due to start and will be there for no more than 2 hours filming.
What equipment do you use?
Roohoo Films uses a Sony HVR-V1E broadcast quality HDV camera with sound and edits on final cut studio. All films are edited to the highest standard using broadcast quality editing techniques and films include a menu, title page and credits.
When will my film arrive?
Little Star Films can take up to 28 days to be delivered but if you need us to be flexible on this we can certainly try. Films are delivered on DVD, personalised, in a special bespoke presentation box. Roohoo Dance Party Films will be delivered within 7 days of the party. Delivery of the Roohoo Nursery Film is through the nursery itself and a delivery date will have been agreed directly with them. Please contact your child’s nursery for this information.
Any extra copies of any films are charged at £15 per copy and £20 per copy including the bespoke box and ribbon
Is my child too young/old to be in a Roohoo Film?
We generally say that our Roohoo films work best with children ages 4years and up. We ask that you do take into consideration that young children can get very tired filming and may only be able to film for a couple of hours and this can effect the overall length of the film.

What about Child Protection?
Roohoo Films takes child protection very seriously. Anyone on location filming with your child will have been Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checked and completed a self disclosure form. Children will not be filmed without a consent form that has been singed by a legal guardian.
